“Chris came highly recommended as we were planning our Southern Highlands wedding in December 2024 at Mali Brae Farm, and it was the best decision we could have made.
His calming, yet playful nature throughout the day created such a relaxed energy throughout all the ‘formalities’ of wedding photos. Nothing felt forced or staged and we found ourselves laughing all day and having the best time with Chris.
My husband and I chose to exchange our vows privately after the ceremony during our photoshoot and Chris was able to capture this beautiful exchange between us. Chris has an incredible knack for being present and alert during these moments, without being intrusive. We felt completely at ease and despite this being an incredibly intimate moment for us, Chris made us feel like we were alone.
Throughout the entire day, Chris was present, attentive and flexible. BAMARANG BUSH RETREAT – NOV 2024
“Chris captured our wedding day in November 2024 at Bamarang Bush Retreat. One of the key reasons we picked Chris was that he was down for anything – and we had planned to go hiking up a mountain in our wedding attire! We were also very impressed with Chris’s process for booking, especially his contract which is written in plain English rather than legal jargon.
Our wedding day was pouring with rain, but Chris (soaking wet) still hiked with us, capturing beautiful photos in the clouds. He also dodged some flying acrobatics to get awesome photos of our first dance, and supplied some sneak previews within the first couple of days after the wedding.
Two things we especially loved and didn’t expect – Chris brought a couple of lights for the dancefloor which made for epic motion shots, and, he specifically checked in before he headed off and asked us if there were any last people we hadn’t yet gotten photos with. He was exceptionally patient as that turned into about a dozen further snaps. Thanks so much Chris – we love the memories you have captured for us and for anyone looking for a wedding photographer, we can highly recommend Red Berry Photography!”

“It’s hard to put into words just how absolutely fantastic Chris and his contributions and vision was on our wedding day!
Right from the start we knew Chris was gold and such a great fit for us. Chris was responsive and really engaged with our DIY farm wedding. Fast forward to wedding day, his calming influence and bit of cheeky banter put everyone at ease and made for some great happy and relaxed photos. We also loved how long Chris stayed, he was with us on the dancefloor right into the night – joining the terrible dancing and capturing some awesome shots!
When we received our final photos we were blown away by how stunning and heartfelt they were. Each shot told the story of the day so perfectly and we will treasure the memories Chris created for us forever. We were also blown away by what an editing demon Chris is! “If you’re picking any other photographer out there you’re doing it wrong. Where do we begin with Chris? The photography is only one of his many skills. Not only did he take the most beautiful photos of us that we have received non stop compliments about, he also was just amazing to deal with, all the way through.
Chris had a zoom meeting beforehand, where he was professional, gave advice and ran through everything to ensure timing was going to be perfect on our day, coordinating sunset shots and all the rest. On our wedding day, I specifically remember being trapped with being asked for photo after photo from our guests off their iPhones. I remember Chris coming up to me, pulling me away, taking my bouquet of flowers and replacing it with a champagne.
