Louise & Dan | Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat Wedding

Louise and Dan’s Kangaroo Valley wedding was a stunning celebration with a truly special Australian flavour. Falling on ANZAC Day, the beautiful Australian bush setting of the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding and reception. In keeping with the traditions of the day, Two-up featured heavily, rosemary was included in the table settings in memory of the ANZACS including Louise’s grandfather. Native Australian flowers featured heavily throughout the floral elements of the day.

One of the loveliest parts of the Louise and Dan’s day was the ‘first look’ where the couple met up prior to the ceremony. I always love when couples decide to incorporate this into their day, as I am able to capture the surprise and emotions on the grooms face at seeing his bride in a quiet, intimate setting, away from the crowd of the ceremony. This worked particularly well for Louise and Dan as they had a special little someone to plan their day around – their son Levi.
